Yes!!!!!! Ugh, great album. Not her best, not her worst, but definitely very high in her discography. 

 

And I'll forever be in love with Fortnight, that might just be my fave.

 

But other than that one, my faves are GaS, Shopie and the Gang, Florida, My Boy, Down Bad, So Long London, Peter, How did it End..... Such a great album. 

 

Just wish it was shorter and had better production. At some point it feels very flat. Specially the 2nd album. Aaron really failed us with this album. Everything he did is flatter than the flat earth.

Even though I criticized Jack a lot in the past, he basically saved this album. Anything slightly interesting was produced by him, except a couple of tracks where you can see Aaron was inspired a little bit.

It's been almost a whole month and FloriGod!!! is still the best song on the album. Crossing my fingers for a live performance of this song with tje Queen Mother Florence on at least one of the London shows

Interest is subjective anyway, the technical musicality and poetic lyricism exhbited on The Anthology is unarguably above TTPD.

I was up way too late going through the Chats & Reacts lovers' song ranker. I did not expect the new songs to be already added which made it hard because the songs are too new to rank IMO. Also it took 1530 selections to get a final ranking, and I still feel some album songs got weirdly grouped together. So I might manually scrub a few final tweaks. I know if I posted it here the girls would NOT be happy.

Is the amazing production in the room with us? Most of his production drag the songs down instead of elevating them. What kind of production standards do we have here? Cowboy Carter is what I would call amazing productions, ones that elevate the music and take you on a wild journey from start to finish - bold, expansive, rich, innovative, artistic. TTPD productions are a stagnant sludge of safe and reused sounds that take you nowhere. She needs to fire them both asap. They are stifling her at the most creative and pivotal point in her career. This album could have been so much more with a more fitting sound.

YIKES. No offence but there's just no reasoning with "logic" like that. And PLEASE Beyonce doesn't even write anything, i'm not gonna give her any credit for anything. "Innovative"

Some great things about the new Eras:

 

- I completely love WAOLOM now. I didn't like it until the performance and live arrangement sold me on it. great song and very camp

- I love that So High School is on the setlist so much. Can TikTok be useful for once and make this an undeniable smash that she can't ignore? I have never wanted a single from her so bad like this

- But Daddy I Love Him just keeps getting better and better

- She left out the dreadful My Boy out of the setlist THANK GOD

 

The awful:

- Guilty as sin not being performed when it's so clearly a standout track. Girl can't choose a single for her dear life
