Already down from number 1 on Uk spotify. They arent responding well to the song i guess. Thank god she had a huge lead the whole week. i dont know why TTPD was released just before summer starts though. Eras tour will hopefully stabilise the album.

Rise up little Suffies rise up.

I even made a playlist starting to build off the parallels between a few of their songs, and I would LOVE it if they'd work together in some way after. The Anthology has very clear Sufjan influences in more than a couple places IMO

Also this is literally me when I listen to The Prophecy

I don't think we're getting another update from Billboard. We only have HDD's last two final updates left so we won't truly know until Sunday

864k streams vs anti Hero 650k on the same day.

The fact there Is a Song Is strongest - was strongest Yesterday doesn't mean fortnight Number Is not very great too.

There can be more than One strong Song at the time.

I wish I could un-recall
How we almost had it all
Dancing phantoms on the terrace
Are they second-hand embarrassed

That I can't get out of bed?
'Cause something counterfeit's dead
It was legendary
It was momentary

Maybe I'm late to the discourse but her delivery of "will I always.. wonder?" in CoSoSoM sounds like "will I always.. want her?" @Vespertine @Great Username @Taylor fanboy

Ohhhh you really did something there! She's too much :cries: Fits in with my reading that Karlie rumours is what the male partner is referring to when he says he always wondered :cries:

Down Bad is song of the day :jonny2: but I can't help but think the writing process was "um where would one cry that rhymes with "him"? "

We have the details of her gym routine, 6x/week before Eras started and during long breaks between tour legs. 2x/week during the Eras tour. Sadly, she might've been crying at the gym. :weeps:

Some of you are not fitness f*gs who go to the gym no matter what, even in tears, and it shows! One of Her most relatable lines I fear

Ooh I'd love to know what you've come up with!

It's the fact that Thomas Bartlett plays on half of evermore and half of The Anthology. He also worked on Carrie & Lowell, Mystery of Love, Visions of Gideon, played on four Dance Fever tracks, and is working with Florence on a Gatsby musical. So he's pretty deep in the Dessner-Antonoff-Welch-Swift circle. I think he probably came in with Aaron.

And LMAO. I just saw that James McAlister, who did the Planetarium album with Sufjan and Bryce Dessner, also worked on closure, Smallest Man, Clara Bow, and half of The Anthology. :deadbanana2:

It's actually weird and unfair that a third of Taylor's 2020s output is so clearly influenced by Sufjan and nobody talks about it. It's always Lana this, Lana that, even from Taylor herself. :shakeno:
