in the really HQ version without the two people talking over it, it's so obvious her and Post's voices are ai generated. It's such a bop though ugh

The way I would instantly die :gaycat7:

Also songs like the original piano demo of Planets of the Universe, Gold Dust Woman, Sara, Storms, Rhiannon… like Taylor having a Stevie Nicks inspired era would keep me musically fulfilled for a decade

Now I love the concept of a TayFleetwood Mac sound but for historical  reasons I don't think we should want Taylor coming anywhere near Rhiannon, even inspirationally :gaycat6:

Bob Lefsetz will rot in Hell, but until that day comes I think there's just too much PTSD associated :gaycat7:

Honestly, I kind of wonder whether we’re just overthinking the genre question a little. What do we actually know so far? The album features Post, who has leaned into country influences and less synthetic instrumentation, particularly on his most recent feature with Noah Kahan. It features Florence, who has really never had predominantly synth pop sounds. We know for a fact that Aaron was in the studio with her as recently as November. All signs point to something with more organic instrumentation than Midnights. I would bet that the most likely outcome is a kind of amalgamation of sounds like Evermore. This time I could see a little country, a little rock, a little alternative, all fed through the usual pop lens to keep it catchy and palatable.

Somewhere in the haze got a sense I'd been betrayed

Maybe it was egos swinging, maybe it was her

You said I had to trust more freely, but diesel is desire. You were playing with fire.

Did everyone just skip The Great War. Although I don't blame you, the song takes a "My bad, maybe it was all in my head" kinda ending but the suspicion was there.

I know it's kinda obvious in hindsight. But I really didn't connect the dots like that.

A mix of genres is kinda what I want for this album, in the same vein as Red and evermore. Those are her best two albums for a reason. It's all over the place, and I think that's when Taylor is at her best, when she doesn't overthink every details on her albums to make it sound "sonically cohesive". I just want her to pour out her soul into her songs in whatever form she sees fit to translate a specific emotion, a specific moment, a specific feeling. I hope she isn't scared of being messy.

I think everything She could make with dessner was made with the 40 tracks they have collaborated already. Midnights 3AM songs are already nothing special . I mean they're good for being just deluxe tracks but could've should've is the only really good track.

Hope dessner and antonoff are for a couple of tracks each and then there are new producers and collaborators. Dessner is not a "real producer", Evermore and folkmore are basically his already written tracks and Taylor wrote the words. So he can only makes his own music (the material he produced for ed Sheeran is terribile), a different thing from being a real producer.

antonoff and its percussions on everything are boring now too.

i want a pop album sounds classic and feels played by a real band.

forgot to save it, it was on tiktok. It's probably still up now (another sign it's not real because you know it would've been scrapped as it had over 100k likes)

@ANG3L I think it's against the rules to post it here (until we the album comes out and we have 100% certainty that it's fake)

i genuinely don't understand what you mean by aaron not being a real producer like could u elaborate. yes a few demos from his own music ended up being used for folkmore but that's common in the industry

fjdslkf I don't know the identity of the insta model but there were rumors floating around in late 2021 that he'd been with a model (I didn't see these until this week, for instance). Emma Laird was just his emotional rebound/the girl he started hanging out with off set at the end of 2022 once Taylor had started emotionally moving on with her life but before they'd decided to end it. The actress pictures with the new GF are just him trying appear "unbothered" to get control over .01% of the narrative before TTPD eviscerates him.

Random but this takes me back to the 'buying a house in London' rumors that came out in the weeks before the breakup, which were very much spread by Tree to keep the press away from noticing that they'd already broken up and just hadn't finalized it (and since they'd broken up and gotten back together like four times, maybe Taylor wasn't sure if it was over over yet), because now I'm thinking about Joe's people using that as a shield for why he was "blindsided" by her email and the end of the relationship when his ass would've known that they weren't buying a house together :deadbanana4: TayGenerosity was too good to him, even in the end, because now he's trying to leverage every last drop of positive PR she ever gave him against her

Spoiler

OMG please spill about their four breakups. We know they were on and off because of songs on Midnights but do you have an actual timeline? Also, lol at them buying a house "together", as if Jobless could ever afford to match what she's willing to spend :ryan3:

I need to be emotionally destroyed by the album. Taylor please and Me and Jobless together  :suburban:

Spoiler

I also want more tea on his bad rep with his peers. Do we think it's because he keeps getting high profile roles although he can't act :ryan3:
