Honestly, after listening through the album a few times, I can't say that many songs really stood out for me like a Betty, a Ivy or a Midnight Rain. Fortnight, Guilty As Sin and loml are the three I'll use.

Anyone have a link to the comment with the compilation of TTPD gifs? I had it saved on another tab but after the thread got closed down it won't load

She's awakening the puta from her slumber, this song is So It Goes coded

Oh don't say that! The bar is too high for @Kiss It Better and I.

I think I have the weirdest taste when it comes to music I like. For example in Midnights I liked Labyrinth the most out of any track from that album, but I know almost nobody used it or liked it :rip:

I wonder if the same will be true for me in TTPD haha

I love that one too, Midnights has a lot of songs that I consider good but I don't find myself going back to listen like her other albums. My faves are YOYOK and Sweet Nothing. I definitely enjoy her slow songs the most.

Don't get me wrong, I love The Alchemy but the flop nickname is The AI.

I just realised that Halsey and Taylor both dated Matty and both their songs especially TSMWEL and Colors include his drug use in them.

Who produced the immaculate The Black Dog?

Place your bets! Aaron or Jack?

I mean honestly, let her be happy. She's been miserable all this time with boring rich guys. Travis is rich too but he's fun. He's certainly not a tortured poet.

Careful. Last time she was happy, she made Loser. She makes her best songs as a result from suffering. It begs the question...

I say yes.

This album's closest relatives are "I like it when you sleep.." by the 1975, "Ceremonials" by Florence + The Machine, and Cigarettes After Sex self titled.

Hold on

I've not heard any of this yet but going off my obsessive research of reactions on here and various subreddits, I'll make some predictions for myself to come back to later…

• this album will have more honest and unhinged songwriting than any album so far. We'll see a new side of Taylor Swift

• sonically it starts off Midnights-esque but swells out into more expansive and experimental territory while still unfortunately being within the confines of Anton-out synth pop :(

• Florence sangs, Posty does not

• Snarky, humorous, tongue-in-cheek, foul-mouthed rambling everywhere

• Christian allusions

• a healthy dose of heartbreak

• a transitional album that on paper should have been a rock album

I can't believe she wrote the masterpieces loml and The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived but they're both dedicated to Ratty Healy :deadbanana4::deadbanana4::deadbanana4:

Yeah... this mostly tracks. I don't think she was especially limited within her and Jack's recent sonic zone, but the rest holds up. Post does get the outro to Fortnight, though (and it's the best part of the song nnn)

Ceremonials comparisons are a reach, let's not

Maybe this is the Charli she's referencing in TTPD and we're all just mass hallucinating that she's saying Puth?

I've only listened to the first couple tracks so I don't have an opinion about the album yet but the way I only see negative tweets about the album on my timeline and most of them are from people with Taylor pfps like idk if these are haters trolling or actual fans but the consensus seems not good thus far.
