tbh what would a Taylor album be without a two or three lines that make you go "HUH??"

Nothing as rough to defend as "sexy baby" on this album at least :dies:

I have no problem with karma is a cat but to this day I don't even wanna watch people react to Anti Hero and risk seeing them hear that line for the first time :rip:

For me the album is one of her weakest. Some great songs to really good ones but sadly nothing that was like wow except for Black dog. I will listen to the tracks i like though a lot.  Black dog should have been the basis for a rock/ soft rock album and she should have used it and started work from there.

For park sake I need her  remove that Charli line or replace it with Carly Rae Jepsen, I forgot she did before for Better Than Revenge and ME!

you see, funnily enough the "sexy baby" immediately made sense to me and doesn't feel nearly as out of place for me, but I know im in the minority for that lmfao

I don't see enough Clara Bow acclaim, praise and devotion. The best song on here idk...

She stands out as a sort of fizzled ending to the alberm I fear. Great song but so disjointed, in the narrative. Maybe it would work better if I Can Do It.. preceded it as track 15, they'd tie the loose ends of her current level of fame together as a neat little conclusion.

production of the i can fix him is really interesting the best way possible

The Black Dog, Smallest Man Who Ever Lived and Florida being the only good songs.
It's so boring and monotonous in writing, melodies and the same vocal delivery in all of the songs. :coffee2:

It's time to ditch Antonoff.

Re-isten to loml  and waolom for me.

the first 5 tracks scared me cause they were giving Midnights/1989tv vault with the synths

from track 6 it took a twist and it got closer to the sound i was hoping for, guitars, real life drums etc

but im sorry, i have to say it, ICDWABH is awful, it's giving tiktok trend, millennial humor glitter gel pen, and it feels so out of place, it's in between two ballads ??

i like the very cinematic drums on the album

In my mind TTPD is like Red — a bridge between her old sounds and the new ones she's ready to try on. There's a lot of soft rock she dabbles in on the second half of this album and to me that's a huge teaser of what direction she's gonna head in next. I don't mind TTPD acting as the bridge album the same way Red did for pop and country.

ok I'll wait for tomorrow and whatever she  has in store for us. I wish she could have given me my Anti-hero for summer but I guess I'll relistened to Midnights again. She's smart though she will get lot of  initial sales from her  huge popularity right now .

well red had bangers, thats my whole issue here she could have added some bangers even Cornelia level and Midnight rain level of bops would have been fine. The highs on this album are just not enough.

Random thought:

I'm not ready for the insufferable Swifties on TikTok this weekend who will be doing talking head videos where they proudly educate other braindead cupcakes on Patti Smith or anything/anyone else mentioned on this album… oh lord

Wait wait hold on is PATTI F****** SMITH mentioned on the album?!
