Maybe we can manifest another AOTY win, and the academy will take that to mean she's finally deserving of SOTY after seven eight tries :ryan3:

But I wanted The OTH Torture Department to win next year too :ryan3:

For whatever it's worth and if it's real then I'll eat my words but I'm very much not enthused about some of those potential songs :gaycat7:

Well maybe we need to join them in complaining about how Taylor's string of critically and commercially successful albums getting recognized by her peers devalues and delegitimizes the Grammys, and we'll get another one for our troubles :ryan3:

She’s absolutely insane for this. We all thought Rep TV was coming but when she said she’s been keeping a secret for 2 years I knew something else was afoot

Not sure how I feel about the title & have no idea what this will sound like but hyped nonetheless. I want the 2M debut just to say she did it. Buckle up, April will come sooner than we know it

On her store it lists the bonus track “The Manuscript”, I wonder how will find out the tracklist this time around. Mindnights bingo rollout was iconic tbh.

I'm not that good at pretending I fear, I'll just watch the fumes from a safe distance and point and laugh. But at least their faves have the prestigious ATRL Grammy's to win :ryan3:.

Given how much time these girls spend thinking about Taylor, surely they must Stockholm Syndrome themselves into liking her music and then they can watch their fave get real Grammys too :ryan3:

You're probably right though, their fumes are starting to get to their heads and make them woozy.

She truly made us believe reputa TV was coming

This girl is the master of bait and switch. So while this cover does not give me bombastic pop music vibe, but a much more chilled and laid back album, I'm not expecting it. See Midnights for reference.

It does get me incredibly excited though. The cover is INSANELY GOOD. I just love it.

Oh it's absolutely deranged behavior but the fear that "Loml", and "My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys" (MBOBHFT for short), and "But Daddy, I Love Him" (BDILH for short), and "Florida" feat. Florence and the Machine struck in me was deep.

I actually really like Florence's music, but Hey Girl has cast a long and dark shadow on any hypothetical Florence x MPG collab :gaycat7:

If this turns out to be fully correct, I will run back and hide these with shame, but until then I hate almost every single damn one of these titles:ryan3:

She knew that Rep TV would get the loser fans (us) talking, and then when we were whipped into a frenzy and primed for an announcement, she threw the curveball and blew our collective puny minds. She's a goddess of crowd work, really :ryan3:

See, I have a feeling this is going to be a Red-style, anything goes type of album, at least sonically. It's a piece-by-piece dismantling of Joe Alwyn, so I could see her castrating him with some alt rock song and then decapitating him with a dark orchestral pop power ballad, with country as she metaphorically pulls his fingernails off with a rusty pair of pliers :ryan3:

Bonus track is titled The Manuscript :duca:

I hope this is actually a concept album unlike Midnights where she talked about how it's about sleepless nights and anxiety then we ended up getting songs like "Karma" and "Snow on the Beach" on it. :skull:

oh wow oh wow the cover :jonny5:, and it's coming so soon :wanda:, and so close to my birthday too :loki:

I LOVE the title, it makes it sound artsy, hopefully another magnum opus is incoming.

I think it’s interesting that since everything is so white and grey, it’s almost impossible to really get a sense of any vibe, unlike Midnights where the aesthetic was clearly a little too strong and suggested something that the album actually wasn’t. If anything, this album’s aesthetic and title are actually kind of giving me, well… a British band that she doesn’t associate with much these days and that I listen to a lot less than I used to.

Apparently it’s synth pop AHHH!!!

This will be Her best album. I’m mad Midnight won AOTY because that means this isn’t getting it :jonny6:

Apparently it’s listed under ‘synth-pop’ :jonny:
