Every time I try to go to other music, I listen to a few songs and immediately come back to TTPD. She really did put narcotics in this ****. :gaylorcat2:

I have a feeling My Boy is going to be prominent on the set, and I have a feeling some of y'all are going to switch like- when you see it live :gaycat4:

The production in the chorus is just SCREAMING to be ramped up for a stadium crowd.

I can read your mind

On midnights like this

I can read your mind

It's fearless

I can read your mind

Burning red (r-e-e-e-d)

I can read your mind

Right from the tortured poets department

I can read your mind

Big reputation, big reputation

I can read your mind

Turns your life into folklore

I can read your mind

You're my lover

I can read your mind

I was born in 1989

I can read your mind

Would be for evermore

I can read your mind

They said speak now

I can read your mind

You look like Taylor Swift

From the bridge to the start of "just say when" is so ******* good. I love that production so much.

I love how you kind of have to have a bit of a unique or aquired taste to enjoy her singles since Folklore...like she isnt giving u instant earworms anymore. It takes you a couple listens to fully entrench yourself into her singles now (at least when it comes to the GP...for us itès a little instant because we are used to her exploring odd sonic palettes and stuff) but yeah I love that about her more recent releases tbh. Like she hasnèt given the public something as instant and accessible as Shake It Off in forever tbh...or even a modern song like Espresso where u hear it and u know exactly what to do with that song...like sheès giving u Fortnight and Anti Hero with quirky lyrics, unique vocal deliveries, switch ups etc...its so much fun tbh!

So when I

touch down

call the amateurs and cut em from the team

I just love that part  Anybody else fell in love with The Alchemy on first listen? The chorus is giving Halsey's Colors. Somebody even made a mash up!

I somehow see her swirling TTPD songs all across the setlist instead of giving it its own section tbh. Like I can see her mashing up My Boy with Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince for some reason

Guilty as Sin? needs more drums!

too much drums can make it sound basic AF. It changes the tempo and makes it less interesting imo. I do envision her releasing a bit of a pumped up version for radio if it becomes a single but not with significantly more drums tbh.

Tonight I got a friend of mine to listen to Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus, How Did It End, coney island. I made a joke while at a bar to my friend group after a group of white girls walked by and I said "I bet I could talk to them about the new Taylor album." So jokes exchanged. Then they asked me my favorite song and I said it was Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus.

and then they asked again in the car and they played it. I took the opportunity to make them listen to the other two. I didn't have enough time to sneak Maroon in there.:jonnycat:

Guilty as sin and broken heart are literally career highlights for commercial success

fortnight did its job already in my opinion.

GAS is a summer smash waiting to happen and broken heart is also getting heavy streams already is insane

There are actually much more drums in Guilty As Sin? but it was produced by you know who so the final product is subdued.

:ryan3:

This is how you DO drums, electronic or acoustic, Jack!

Who would have thought I'd be a Chris Rowe stan.

Drafting a thread, and noticed that Sounwave's contribution in Midnights as a co-producer is… just Programming. :deadbanana2:
