I wonder if this will be her peak? Who knows.

It seems likely, the only way she could debut higher is that if she takes a break to build up some hype otherwise it'll be really hard to get these numbers again.

Oh wait good point yeah I fear they're overestimating here :suburban:

Spoiler

but seriously this reads to me like they got the number Billboard is about to release about activity to date and it's in the 2.3 neighborhood

and I can speak from personal experience that I still have several copies of this album sitting in her warehouse, so the gap in predictions is likely just... waiting to be shipped, especially since this is really over performing SEA estimations

She used all the tricks in the book and still couldn't break Adele's record

Whatever number it will it's actually a nutty number in 2024... and the thing that makes it so much more impressing is that she has debuted with over 1M copies other SIX times (not counting TTPD) in a span of 14 years. So consistently high forever, it's so crazy

She had less vinyl variants than your fave Gaga's last album and is doing nearly 10x more than that album did

:ryan3:

In fact, she's moving more units in 1 week than that album has moved in 4 years

I hope somehow she crosses 2M pure sales and becomes the second highest debut with SPS

What a queen! I wonder if TS12 will even overtake it

I actually believe Rep TV might become bigger than 1989 TV cause she just keeps making her fanbase larger and larger with each release

I think there's an on-going purge within the fanbase after those MC reviews.

I wish whichever TV next, an ounce of luck.

I agree but Swifties were literally trying to belittle 25 and Adele DAILY so you're essentially asking for it. I've seen too many comments saying TTPD is more "impressive" which it's not.

Taking breaks kills instead of building hype in the streaming age.

If she announces a new album with a bright aesthetic after the eras tour is over, she might be able to repeak.
