She's done country/pop, synth-pop, alternative/AC, folk-influenced, etc. Her musical output is very diverse and she's clearly pushed herself creatively and musically over the years. I mean, Folklore/Evermore are absolute masterclasses in songwriting and actually include some very unusual/nuanced musical/production elements. People who say stuff like this have clearly never listened to her discography outside her top 10 hits. idk, call me biased because I'm a fan but Taylor's career and change of musical style over the years is certainly one for the history books. Besides, isn't "interesting" subjective? For example, I don't care for metal music and it doesn't interest me personally, but that doesn't make it uninteresting, right? Everyone knows Taylor is the safest and most edgeless artist of this generation so that's not really new but someone really does need to put out there that just because your ass is doing something different and tying all sorts of sensitive topics and political stances to it doesn't equate greatness. They absolutely will give that AOTY to Beyonce next year just so she will finally stop making a fuss and also for pure sympathy. We all know her Madonna fuss and what it's about so good for her. I've always though she was high af, or drunk or whatever. She was acting silly like a drunk cheerleader at a prom party just to get some attention, but throwing stuff in the direction of Madonna could have hurt pretty seriously. That was so stupid, I also hated the host inviting her to join the conversation, that was dumb as hell too. I would have rather called the security guys to escort her out actually.
