I feel like not enough people are bringing up 2008.  Katy's OOTB, Gaga's Debut, Adele's Debut, Taylor's Fearless, Beyoncé's IASF, Britney's Circus, Pink's Funhouse, Leona Lewis's Debut, Rihanna's GGGB (Reloaded).  I'm sure some men released music too.

While 2020 was an awful year in many aspects, music-wise it was kind of incredible. What's Your Pleasure, How I'm Feeling Now and DISCO are some of my favorite albums ever. The Chloe x Halle album was also great. Tame Impala, Dua, Gaga, Yves Tumor, BLACKPINK finally being let out of YG's basement for a bit...

 

Honorable mention to 1992 having Love Deluxe, Erotica, and Aphex Twin's debut in the same year.
