I remember them week after week getting better , ET was the moment i became a mixer all the way and i was so upset Kelly was not there that week Im really so proud of all of them , how they have grown into these amazing women ( even with all the drama that happened i was so angry at the beginning but now im just sad ) I vividly remember thinking "there's potential here" when they sang Superbass and then when they sang Don't Let Go I thought to myself "they're going to win" … and now we're here! They've been on such an incredible journey over the past 10+ years and I'm so proud of everything they've achieved, I'm so pleased that Jade is *finally* getting her flowers for the force she always has been.
KeirGrey Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Do we think it has a chance of being a hit? I love it but for some reason I cant see it being one but I hope I'm wrong.
glitch Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 Wow that's a really good second day. Hoping it can remain stable throughout the week 1 1

Absolutely, if the first two streaming days are anything to go by. Can definitely see this being a Top 10 hit in the UK.
Alaska. Posted July 21 Posted July 21 I'm kinda obsessed. I hope she drops a debut album as interesting as this
tbhmatt Posted July 21 Posted July 21 I saw someone post a tweet pointing out that they change the Spotify visuals every day. Day one was angel Jade, day two was young Jade and today it's blonde haired diva Jade. Really nice touch. 3
tbhmatt Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Can anyone remind me what time the UK chart first look is released today?

tbhmatt Posted July 21 Posted July 21 1 minute ago, glitch said: Between 6 and 7pm Thanks, I know the first look will be slightly inflated since it doesn't include all streaming data but I'm hoping for a solid start. Im thinking Top 10 is achievable if streams remain consistent. If she had physicals, then we could have perhaps even aimed for Top 5..
liquiddiamonds Posted July 21 Posted July 21 The fact this is performing way above the average solo little mix song while having tempo changes and a mixing that radio 1 won't touch anytime soon without a mega push behind the scenes. She's truly winning this weekend
Slap Posted July 21 Posted July 21 (edited) It's giving Raye mixed with Gemma Collins energy and I absolutely love it. Very daring and different and I'm perched for more from her. Edited July 21 by Slap 1
Mordecai Posted July 21 Posted July 21 This is a really clever debut Don't really think too much of the song at the moment but there's a lot going on sonically and a lot to unpack in the music video (which was nice) which not only gets me thinking but has me wanting to revisit this again at some point
tbhmatt Posted July 21 Posted July 21 It's the layers to this that makes it so engaging and makes you want to listen again and again. I didn't clock it at first, but the angels dancing scene whilst they're being watched could definitely be taken as a nod to the influence Tik Tok has had on the industry in recent years. Maybe it's supposed to be a reference of having to create dance trends etc to try and stay relevant? So many scenes are open to interpretation and that is how you know you've created a brilliant piece of art.
BLɅϽKPIИK Posted July 21 Posted July 21 (edited) I haven't really enjoyed any of the songs released by the LM ladies but this one is right up my street. I am now officially excited to see what else she has up her sleeve. Edited July 21 by BLɅϽKPIИK
ATRL Moderator kelly-clarkson Posted July 21 ATRL Moderator Posted July 21 I love that they keep changing the Spotify canvas! 3
glitch Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 One of my biggest frustrations with Little Mix was always that their talent did not really match up with their musical output. Even though I loved them, I always wanted a little bit more and they didn't really ever deliver that outside of a few songs. I had really hoped their solo endeavours would allow them to showcase their abilities but up until now I'd been left pretty disappointed. So glad that Jade broke that mould and showed people what she was capable of, and that lots of non-LM fans are enjoying the song too!

shark_heather Posted July 21 Posted July 21 The ONLY thing i would change on the song is the "Love when you call me a star You let me down in the dark" melody part on the 2nd chorus it should be repeated twice Apart from that is just pure PERFECTION 1
tbhmatt Posted July 21 Posted July 21 The contrast between the gritty verses addressing the downside of fame being bridged in to the glossy chorus by the melody "but it feels niii iii iii iice in the spot li iii iii iiight"… the way she delivers that line literally feels like she's having an inner monologue with herself, it literally feels like the bridge to prechorus/chorus is her saying to herself "this is horrible, buuuuuut…." Her mind! 2
tbhmatt Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Taken from Buzzjack. She is coming to secure that Top 10, I fear #61 (+42) Amazon Music UK 1
