Dolce Vita Posted July 19 Posted July 19 im so impressed with this! i never really liked little mix but was intrigued by their solos & jade just gets who her audience is and also has her own vision as an artist. the long wait for her music definitely paid off, she must be so happy with how's it being received
Cain Posted July 19 Posted July 19 After all the hype in here I decided to check it out but it's not giving much 2 2 5
Shinning Posted July 19 Posted July 19 This song is so weird. But like not in a bad way, it's just different. The video is great though so zany

tbhmatt Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Am I delusional for thinking this could do 1m on Spotify? It might be a tough ask, but word of mouth… 1
QuanticXplosion Posted July 19 Posted July 19 This reminded me of What you waiting for by Gwen Stefani in the sense that the song itself is quite the journey. I love it. 4
durrss Posted July 19 Posted July 19 jade baby I wanna listen to the For The Club version but it isn't available in my country
kayliah Posted July 19 Posted July 19 I luv the video. Its touching, funny, emotional and campy... a whole rollercoaster ride. She is serving big time. Perrie is too vanilla and bland, doesnt help that she has whitney vocals with no vision and musical identity. Thats why having a personality and vision elevates you from vocalists.
tbhmatt Posted July 19 Posted July 19 I can't get over this. JADE is the FULL package. She's an artist. She can sing, dance, perform and also write music. She understands that being a pop star is more than just chucking out a few catchy bops. She fully commits. The thought of her creating an entire era that is authentically hers and hers only… whew! The other girlies should be scared, taking notes etc! I remember she once said when she wrote songs in Little Mix, she used to envisage what the music video for each song would look like. That's the level of dedication, artistry and creativity you need to thrive as a pop star. She's constantly thinking of what else she can give to help enhance the song itself. She is THEEEEE moment! 9
tbhmatt Posted July 19 Posted July 19 To think this is just her deep in her campy, actress, personality bag… when she decides to drop that and turn full-on ***** pop star mode with single #2, choreo and all…. It might actually be a massacre
makeawish Posted July 19 Posted July 19 the video is a lot. felt vaguely uncomfortable most of the time but in a good way 1
revivval Posted July 19 Posted July 19 This is the most interesting dark pop song released this year along with Training Season
glitch Posted July 19 Author Posted July 19 It's kinda like the perfect evolution of Wasabi (which I always saw as her song) with all the different elements mashed together to make a mega gay bop 1 1
tbhmatt Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Pleased to confirm I have now curated a playlist called "Hey Mike, let's do something crazy!" And the run of Angel Of My Dreams / Genesis Part II / Wasabi / Make You Mine / Escapism. / Bad Guy / MONEY etc among others goes absolutely ******* crazy More song recs welcomed because this playlist is going to be on repeat for a while.
Baltie Posted July 19 Posted July 19 I never really considered myself a fan of Little Mix back then, but my eye was always on Jade whenever they came out with something. Now that I've finally heard her debut, I really do think she has the it factor to turn her into a star. She has the personality, vision, and musicality to back it up. The song is much more experimental than I expected and is also interesting to listen to, and for a debut single, you gotta capture the people's attention, which I think she did. The video is a 10/10. Serving looks, different personalities, drama, and nostalgia. There's probably some underlying meaning to the scenes which I will find out, but so far, she is absolutely serving. Rooting for her!
Augmented Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Mike Sabath executive producer of the album, Raye and Tove Lo co-writes and Cirkut + Dave Hamelin production oh she was on a mission in that studio 1
Outlaws Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Ugh, the melody during the MV intro was so beautiful. And then it turned into that generic one But it's cute.
♚ PRiNCE HiGH ♚ Posted July 19 Posted July 19 this is honestly such an exciting and refreshing song/mv. It's so....unique? I was expecting some predictable girly dance single from her but wow I am really impressed and intrigued 2
