discussion 'The Good Doctor' brutally kills off gay character, fans outraged

The Good Doctor TV show just brutally and unceremoniously killed off gay character Dr. Asher Wolke (played by Noah Galvin) and fans of the show aren't happy. Doctor Wolke has been a part of the show from seasons 4 through 7 and was one of the main characters. Thoughts?

Regardless of viewers overreacting. Yall need to understand any type of violence towards gay people in media will cause some type of harm in the real world. It's already difficult to get representation, and even if it's not realistic for a character to not die, the current enviroment cannot sustain any kind of brutality considering it already happens way too much in real life. Perhaps yall feel safe where you are but I'm sure the average straight man from my country will laugh about this situation and say things like "deserved for being a f*****".
