why Selena has the most remembered Disney bops out of Miley and Demi?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Demi has Skyscraper, GYHAB, and her magnum opus Heart Attack.

Meanwhile, Miley has 7 things, The Climb and even one of her best sellings Party in the USA.

But why Selena's seems like the memorable ones? LIke the songs have the best streams and YT views and Disney definitely spammed her more than her peers. Even my local friends acknowledge them more and some people say that The Scene era was her peak era.

Let's revisit:

TO SPECIFY, i meant GLOBALLY idc if PITUSA is 13xplatinum or peaked 2.

question: is Selena a MPG or a nostalgia act?:coffee2:

Miley is definitely most remembered. The Climb and Party in the us is still played on radio across the country today. Nobody is playing who says or naturally:priceless:

Naturally and lylals as peak. Who says and a year without rain though are t as remembered i say

If i ranked them as most remembered, i would say:

1. Party in the usa

2. Love you like a love song

3 Naturally

4. The climb

5. A year without rain

6. seven rings

7. Heart Attack

8. Who says

9. Gyhab

10. Skyscraper, which i havent heard played in the wild for over a decade.

The Climb and PITUSA are far more remembered than any of those Selena songs. PITUSA is 13x Platinum so that alone invalidates this argument. :rip:

miley has ONE popular disney song that is PITUSA. but come on now, LYLALS globally is still more remembered and played.  I'm not saying Selena is bigger than MIley bc shes not, thats why i didnt use that word, Hannah Montana was THE thing.

I just said that, people talk more about Naturally, AYWR (or the spanish version), Who says and LYLALS more than 7 things, See you again, Fly on the wall, Can't be tamed, like nobody remembers that

This is factually untrue

Some of u will try to gaslight members into believe Selena has closer to Demi numbers when The Climb does 300k daily, Who Says 250k daily and Skyscraper does like 20k. And u guys can check on Kworb. And Who Says had days where it did 400k btw.

PITUSA is the bigger classic tho! Of course.
but even so, LYLALS does +600k daily and had its days when it did 900k (PITUSA numbers today, for example).

Spotify:

The Climb - 618,773,339 (303,581 daily streams)

Naturally - 134,835,435 (55,782 daily streams)

A Year Without Rain - 106,940,511 (39,436 daily streams)

If people are talking more about Naturally, why aren't they even bothering to stream it? stop setting up this woman. :toofunny3:
