The Fosters was a tribute to Jennifer's lesbian aunt and it ran for 5 seasons on Freeform, later creating a spin-off called Good Trouble, which also ran for 5 seasons, and is also produced by her. Both shows pop up from time to time on the Hulu/Disney+ charts. They both feature MANY queer characters, trans rep, disability rep, etc, the list is surprisingly long.
