Now obviously dying is awful but which is the worst part? Dying alone with NO ONE by your side or dying alone without family to hold your hand?

Mine is not that but it made me think some time ago when Lana was teasing Ocean Boulevard, praying I don't die until it's out:rip:

Is there any sort of consciousness in the afterlife

The fear of being doomed to hell honestly, that would be my greatest fear. If no hell, we just stop existing, then I will just be worried about the impact of my death on my loved ones and how they will cope .

Not being able to feel anymore. I love to listen to music, I love orgasming, I love to eat, I love to laugh, the scariest part of dying for me is not having consciousness anymore.

Getting reactions on ATRL gives me the will to live.

The worst part of me dying is that my reactions count will remain the same until the end of time since I will never be able to post on ATRL again. :chick3:

your body slowly losing its function and you just being aware of it ultimately turning into a literal physical burden to carry to your unchanged conscious mind

The worst part of dying is knowing you're gonna miss out on all the cool stuff that happens. humanity should not move forward without me!

Something that really bothers me is that I won't know the date. Like forevermore that date is going to be associated with my life, my tombstone, my obituary... it even comes around once every year and I don't know that is going to be the date. Morbid, but I wonder what it will be.

I worked in a nursing home for years and it's the way decrepit people are artificially kept alive for profits that scarred me. There's a lot of abuse and neglect that goes on too, especially for the lonelier patients with little to no family/kids to speak up or really notice it. It's so sad. People with serious cases of dementia/alzheimer's who are half brain dead with 0 control of their bowels. Like… I don't ever want to die in a nursing home like that.
