I looooove Too Sweet, but how is it debuting so high? :rip: his last few singles have been mostly non-factors

It's #2 on Spotify, and other than Futures album bomb there's only 2 other artists songs above it on Apple Music. It's also #2 on iTunes. I guess this song just clicks better with the GP than his previous singles.

For anyone still wondering about Hozier:

Hozier first teased a snippet of the track during a March 6 appearance on the How Long Gone podcast hosted by Chris Black & Jason Stewart. That snippet quickly went viral amongst Hozier's fanbase, with a popular TikTok account uploading the "Too Sweet" tease as a sound. In less than a month, that sound has collected nearly 50,000 posts on the app, and Hozier even used it TikToks officially announcing the new EP and debuting what appears to be clips of a visualizer for the song.

Too Sweet is easily the best song released this year. Catchy as hell. Easily the best song he's released since his debut. Glad it's turning out to be a smash... just hope pop radio will pick it up.

Thinkin' Bout Me should be done as it's at #21 this week (and Fast Car is more likely than not out as well). Snooze and Last Night could survive, depends on how well Future's doing in the 21-25 tier. Slimed In seems to be the only other Future song in that range that I'd bet would be there, and the rest of the top 25 should consist of Never Lose Me and Saturn. So my bet is on both of them surviving for now. They're probably a coin flip to survive Bey and are done after Taylor.

If anyone has the actual data on the top 25 that'd be great.

Should we expect Is It Over Now, Paint The Town Red and What Was I Made For? to all leave this week?!

Yeah I tend to think TBM is gone but LN might be OK. I know it's only 4 addl weeks but I do want it to survive till Swift's album knocks everyone/thing out.

Hozier's first top 5 hit in a decade since Take Me to Church (his debut single). Oh, wow.
