People here acting like speculating about her whereabouts was such a vile thing to do, but this only happened because the palace was indeed lying and handling this horribly. It's normal for people to be curious, especially given that she's part of a governmental structure. Like she is the princess of the UK, she's not a Kardashian. What happens with the Royal Family has real consequences for millions of people (many of whom are paying for the family's luxurious lifestyle with their hard earned tax money). People don't need to hear about their cancer on every magazine headline. The bad photoshop really screwed up. I wish her a good recovery and that people just let them be and get well. C_Colstead Posted March 22 Posted March 22 (edited) The entire world literally harassed this woman into revealing that she has cancer - and they were enabled to do so by the Palace, who decided the most appropriate thing to do was to downplay this and throw her under the bus for weeks. All of this could have been avoided with the simplest "The Princess of Wales will discuss her health crisis in more detail when she's ready to/recovered" statement at the very start. Hitchhiker Posted March 22 Posted March 22 As someone who had a mom diagnosed with breast cancer and thankfully have been treated, a grandma that passed away last year bc of intestinal cancer and a dad whose waiting for a biopsy results concerning liver cancer, I would not wish it on anyone or their families, it sucks how far science have went and we are still nowhere near finding out how to treat at least one type of it and eliminate it completely. I wish her all the best and I hope she recovers quickly and live a great long life 12
