Sexyzinger Posted July 16 Posted July 16 I wish URRRRGE!!! was a single. With a push it would smash. 2
Flocon Posted July 16 Posted July 16 It's the end of the European Leg. She was phenomenal. I think it marks the end of the Scarlet era too. 1
Alex Posted July 16 Author Posted July 16 Thank god. Let's re-up for a new era by the end of the year and keep the good momentum going. Her emails -> Short n Sweet moment 1
TripToYourLove Posted July 17 Posted July 17 Disrespectful NEEDS to be a single with a video. It's soooooo good. A career highlight IMO! This entire album has aged so beautifully and it truly gets better with age. I remember Shutcho being at the bottom of my list when Scarlet first came out but now I'm in love with it, especially the version with The Joy! This album, especially the deluxe songs, would make for such a good Tiny Desk set. I would love her forever if she ever did one. Looks like the era is most likely over though with the conclusion of the EU tour leg. Regardless I've LOVED this era and am excited for whatever else doja has up her sleeve. 5

motomami Posted September 6 Posted September 6 So happy this might be pressed with the deluxe tracks included
Alex Posted September 7 Author Posted September 7 Scarlet's "poor" sales were literally due to the fact that there were virtually no physical copies available to purchase besides an old CD with the pre-modified tracklist. I guarantee she could easily clear 100k-150k first week with CD and vinyl variants available if RCA actually tried... ANYWAY thank goodness they pressed this, been waiting for so long they must've heard my whining! 4

needs Posted September 11 Posted September 11 CLAUDE did so much for this project to me. I didn't really like Scarlet that much until CLAUDE and now I can listen to the whole thing all 24 songs and just vibe. I think she has a lot of work to do as a rapper, she really lacks technical ability, it's kind of boring to listen to her rap sometimes; BUT, she has really interesting and important things to say and ultimately most of these songs bang. She is really really brave for this project and there is no one else in the industry doing stuff like this especially not a superstar like her.
Flocon Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Yes, CLAUDE adds so much to Scarlet. I'm still not really into Ouchies, Wet Vaginal, 97, etc... until Schutcho in the tracklist, BUT, the CLAUDE songs are SO good and are a smart introduction to Paint The Town Red, initially track 1. She really outdid herself with AKNOWLEDGE ME and DISRESPECTFUL. The only miss for this album is OKLOSER. It's like one of her worst song ever. 1
makeme Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Scarlet has charted on the BB200 now for 51 weeks. One more to go until it hits a year but its at #191 ugh 1

charmed23 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I'm shooked at the longevity. Is it due to PTTR and Agora Hills' ongoing streaming power?
