Those albums are nothing alike, sonically. She called it that to keep the goodwill going and then released an absolute abortion of a song like Bye Bye that haulted the momentum.

 

Anyway, E=MC2 is Mariah's worst album. Hard Candy isn't much better but I pick it here.

I have a ton of nostalgia for both eras, and I enjoy both albums to this day.

Madonna wins this one easily. Hard Candy is mid af but E=MC² is Mariah's worst album.

Einstein is one of my favorite Mariah albums but the single choices were TERRIBLE  The campaign completely fell apart after the lead single. Hard Candy on the other hand was the beginning of Madonna's downfall, but the single choices were impeccable.
