It’s an ok album but a bit bloated. There’s are some gems in there but you really have to look for them.

If he would've cut 8 of the filler tracks it would've been a decent effort

Pretty much this. But they’ll hand out 70-80s scores like hot cakes to please “current” pop stars’ stans :gaycat7:

It doesn’t matter because the album is serving quality & he's still actually releasing (albums, touring & giving visuals for his fans.) :heart2:.  Seethe babe.

I’m not a huge Justin Timberlake fan, but I did give this a listen because he’s had some songs I’ve enjoyed. This album wasn’t good. There were a couple of serviceable songs but overall.. meh. Whatever spark he used to have is gone now.

It’s cool to hate Sam Smith yet all their albums are still green 🟩, JT just sucks in general :gaycat6:

The album is too long and full of uninspiring dated sounded fluff

He should go with 11-12 and not 18 in total of 76 bloody minutes

Is it just me or does the artist page on metacritic no longer show discography or anything related to album scores? Who did Justin pay to hide all that :thing:

Obsessed with this euphemism for cheating and/or putting his name on the work of infinitely more interesting black songwriters/producers

The album isn't as bad as Man of the Woods, so it's a small win :clap3:

I want Justin Timberlake to be successful again, for the sake of MPB culture, but this album isn't it. There are a couple of good tracks, but a lot of this sounds uninspired, like @mike_int said. Melodies that go nowhere, cheap-sounding instrumentals, questionable mixing...

He could still make a comeback if he had good music but these songs are forgettable :dancehall3:

When I read the title I just knew a Britney stan made the thread. His second fanbase always keeping check on Justin. It's been 20 years now, time to let it go.

Anyway, I haven't listened to the album yet, but I wouldn't be surprised tbh. He kinda lost his groove after 2014.

The way it's always Britney stans breaking their heels to post JT threads :skull: it's actually sad.

OT: Expected tbh, these "critics" had their reviews written months ago, it's not really about the music for them but for internet points and their Twitter addiction. The album is good and what a joy it is to have 18 new songs from your fave :WAP:
