You better stan Legend Town! One of the best shows ever tbh. So funny.

I can’t wait for this movie but I’ll be having heart palpitations whenever Gale gets chased. If they kill her off I’m pretending this franchise ended with #5 :bird:

Gale is going to live, mark my words. The newest set of trailers is teasing a longer chase in that apartment, which gives her a chance at surviving!

I’m hoping the late embargo has more to do with keeping spoilers and whatnot at bay and not any indication that the film will be perceived poorly. There are films that have late review embargoes that are acclaimed. Of course it begs the question, if the critic response is strong, why would you wait until release to use it as promotion? Alas, I have faith this will pull through.

I would be shocked if they killed her off because after Dewey, it’d feel like a lazy way of being shocking. She has to survive the entire franchise imo.

Her chase looks like it’s gonna be amazing.

We've longed for another chase scene that will rival the one below and they better come close or deliver!!

Am I pushing it by wanting a Scream 7 either later this year or next year despite how the film does?

the promo is promo-ing

also I said what I said Jill is better than Amber:nicole: idc if the movie flopped.

I still don't really understand Amber and the boyfriend's (he was that forgettable I can't think of his name :deadbanana:) motive exactly.

Jill's was at least clear and focused.

Jill's reveal is iconic because you truly do not see it coming.

I’m afraid to even discuss theories and predictions now that some people know from the leaks and might spoil it here

I feel like I should avoid the internet at all costs Tuesday and Wednesday and go see it on Thursday.

Last time I checked most of my 5:30 showing was free, hoping that changes though

This is currently CRUSHING Thursday presales in US/Canada, like huge. Comps are all very healthy, over double the previous film's presales ATM.

It could possibly do $8-10M in Thursday previews alone! It seems set for at least $40-45M debut. Prob higher. Franchise debut record with ease.

I wouldn't be surprised if it does $50M. It's the perfect storm of goodwill from a well received last entry and Ortega's heightened popularity. Tracking from major chains in the East Coast have it at 2.38x the previews of Scream 5 right now. It's crushing Shazam 2 rn lmao

BUT and a big but.. don't be surprised nor upset with $40M+. It would still cruise past $100M domestic alone.
