Just because it is a slasher franchise doesn't mean it doesn't have to develop characters and play by some semblance of realism or internal consistency.

Scream is the most grounded franchise out of all of them. I wanted Stu back but the time was 20 years ago. There is no way he has been alive this long and no one mentioned it, especially with Billy's daughter running around. I suppose he could be in some witness protection program or something (event though he was a killer, not a witness) but maybe since he was technically a minor they put him in some rehabilitation program. I can't believe Dewey wouldn't have looked into it or mentioned it in 25 years though. But if they want to jump the shark, whatever. Ghostface in space next.

kind of I feel like it's used interchangeable in casting calls sometimes but I don't think they usually appear on camera like a body double or stunt person would. they just, well, stand in for the actor before filming to like set up the lighting / camera and stuff like that
