Surely they can’t go through with the movie now? Because how can you explain Tara and Sams absence? They should just scrap it and we can just hope another studio ends up getting the rights in a few years or so and we get another SCRE4M scenario.

Wow, you sound shallow

As much as your message visibly.

Not you guys acting like any of these people are known outside of Jenna who has not established herself by any means anyways. They could replace the whole cast and the public wouldn’t care if the movie was good.

Def true, and said it before. Not surprised for Ortega, this had been hinted before that with Paramount not signing the cast multi-film contracts, they had to close deals before (look even Neve wasn't locked for 6 so that was messy on them), and Ortega being the it-girl right now and all her ongoing projects... At least with Melissa out, it'll be easier to do a new clean slate for 7!

I wouldn’t be surprised if the desperate zionists decide to make Scream 7 between 2011 and 2022 so they can bring the OG trio back as well :deadbanana2:

Stu Macher probably making a comeback too

Scream 7 DOA now. There’s no way they can make it with obscene backlash. They need to remove whatever Zionists have caused this and recast melissa and jenna if they want to continue.

it breaks my heart that this is what the franchise has come to.

Anyways I will treat 7 like it’s a big budget fan film. Manifesting that 8 (aka the real scream 7) comes out in 2036 and it’s made by a new studio

I'm genuinely heartbroken. After maintaining an ongoing narrative spanning over twenty five years, a true return to form (in my opinion) with Scream 6, creating compelling characters and remaining one of the most consistent horror franchises, Paramount and Spy Glass are going to ruin all the good will they've built and waste an iconic series of films because an actor voiced her opinion on Palestine? (an opinion I happen to agree with) I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed and upset over a piece of entertainment news. I've been hoping a clarification would come out and give us some more details or even disprove the initial story but that's obviously not going to happen, I'm really at a loss

This is such bullshit. I'm a die-hard "Scream" fan, but i'm not going to support this.

I doubt that Neve Campbell would even return now. Imagine the backlash if the star of this franchise, who rightfully declined to return because of being underpaid, would now only return because the two new main girls got fired / left. Which is the only reason they would have money to pay her.

And i don't know if Gale and Kirby would be enough. It would feel more like a spin-off at this point. Mindy and Chad can't carry this franchise either.

The gaslighting...

Wow wow wow. This is so ******* terrifying and leaves me with a knot in my stomach. It’s SO scary how aggressively they are gaslighting and contorting the situation. I truly hope she speaks out against this and that other actors are BRAVE enough to rally, for her, and against the studio.

We'll come back to that same topic when the movie is released and we'll not be surprised if it does similar numbers (unless destroyed by critics, who knows?) because GP juste does not care (for better or for worse, I am not talking about why and who) and doesn't even know who MB is (no offense but true).

Again, people who go see Scream go for 1) a horror movie (which is the most popular and enduring genre in theaters for years now, and even more since Covid) 2) Ghostface + Brand).

Neve being absent, which caused similar noise on social media with "fans" claiming they would no go see it, that S6 would crash, that Paramount was misogynistic for not paying her well (true), had NO negative effect on the box office.

It was already over for Scream 7 when Christopher Landon took over

Scream is produced by SpyGlass entertainment. It was founded by Roger Birnbaum (Jewish) who first started in the music business. Disney has a distribution deal and equity stake in the company. Disney is run by CEO Bob Iger (Jewish). You simply cannot make any statements that go against the Israel narrative

Scream 7 could have been another solid stab in the franchise. Hopefully something miraculous still happens. Just when Core Four had been sympathetically established. :sosad:

It’s not really the same. Neve not returning upset fans because of the disrespect, but I think most also acknowledge there was nowhere else to go with Sydney. And we had Kirby returning to soften the blow.

This incident is much more politically heated  and insidious on the studio’s part. And it most certainly will have a negative impact on the quality of the next installment. GP won’t care, but core Scream fans will.

the fact that they successfully revived the franchise and also killed it in less that two (2!) years is actually hilarious if you ask me

if she agrees it will be the confirmation that this is just a job for her and does not care about the franchise at all and she does it only for the money - which unpopular opinion I always thought was the case :fan:
