Emma seemed to have been confused by this, so I feel like it was Michelle who got the Oscar near Jennifer, and she then perhaps just let her instincts take over because the award and its winner were suddenly right in front of her. It was all a bit messy from our audience POV, but the ladies on stage probably were just caught up in the moment and I really doubt any of them had any bad intentions. It just wasn't as smooth as it should've been. Exactly and she acknowledged all of the ladies after the hug with Jen so nothing to over analyse as some members here love to do

PatrickGray.12 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 She is currently the only two time acting winner under 40. Even more impressive both wins are in the lead acting categories. 1 1
Pink Ranger Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Imagine if she gets nominated again for Kinds of Kindness same director as Poor Things 1

Now this is one of the biggest lies ever told on this clueless site. Calling Emma and her performance in this film 'mediocre' is just outrageous. She had to build the character from scratch. From the way it walks and talks in 5 different stages, to the overall performance. She was magnificent, she had the best performance of the year and for once the Oscar made the right choice. I also don't see how her race has anything to do with it in the case.

Honestly movie gets a lil dull after the first 4 viewings. I'm like shut up Bella and turn it off lol. She kinda like Anya on Buffy which we has since like 2001
Rid Of Me Posted March 16 Posted March 16 She's fantastic in Poor Things. My favorite performance in years
