It does show that if you perform (SNL), have an engaging music video, have a great song and some viral-ity, a song can grow and actually really being a GP pleaser and not just a top song from a very large fan base.

Beyoncé? If there's one thing we know about her is that she doesn't have a large dedicated fan base (doesn't mean no success, but I never feel like any projects she does is deem to success no matter what on short term).
