This will probably blow your mind but two things can be bad at the same time. I don't doubt that Gaga's heart is in the right place but based on the pharmaceutical industry's history it's perfectly fair to scrutinize stuff like this, not to mention there's no doubt she was compensated in some way for this. Insilin only costs at most $4 to manufacture yet they were charging a couple hundred dollars for it. The government had to step in and cap the price at $35 which is still 9x profit. Right, and is there any evidence Clinuvel is doing that?
State of Grace. Posted March 5 Posted March 5 (edited) Even if her heart is in the right place and she has good intentions, literally nothing in the world would make what Big Pharma is doing right. This is PR 101. I'd believe this if it was some NGO trying to help low income people. Now why are you, an actress/singer, getting involved in shady shite like this that would only backfire on you and your brand eventually? I hope the Haus Labs pharmaceutical skincare is worth it. Solar Posted March 5 Posted March 5 “Pharma” did not eat anyone up lol some users on here are just overreacting over a gig for a charity Foundation. That’s what is being pointed out.

Parroting the Clinuvel PR department for a stan war is so mind bogglingly stupid when they cause untold pain and suffering. "What Ozempic did for diabetes and then tangentiality to weight loss in individuals who aren't diabetic but for tanning technology" Yeah, I'm sorry, but anyone interested in equity in healthcare would roll their eyes at this. This is not about extending access to those with EPP or vitiligo, but finding a way to now use the tech that has been developed for medicine in more money-making centric industries. 2 2

Phaunzie Posted March 6 Posted March 6 The swift clocking of LMs on the first pages. Oh my, I guess 50K for the medicine, is charitable. 1
Specter Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Well if Big Pharma says her heart is in the right place, I believe it

But I thought you guys were happy and content with her music career being in the toilet as long as she's on her way to become the new Meryl Streep? Why bring up those who sell "repackaged music"? Mad it ain't her doing the numbers?
