R.E.M. Posted March 3 Posted March 3 get money, ***** I don't see what's wrong about using a platform built off talent and hard work to make money from other industries (e.g., pharmacy, film, etc.) but it's cute to see y'all pretend to be outraged by this. 3 6 7
cloudbusting Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I can ignore haus labs and tolerate a nurtec ad or two, but this is so disappointing her move to LA was such a mistake 2
Abracadabra Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I don't really get the outrage.... she has a make-up line and is partnering with a company that has created an implant for sunburning in make-up... what's the big deal? The faux outrage just for a cheap drag in here is so Don't some of y'alls faves have brands that are made in sweat shops in Asia? But this is where you draw the line? Bye 8 2
Popular Post CottageHore Posted March 3 Popular Post Posted March 3 This is no only a tacky look but such a pathetic and embarrassing look for her. Wtf is she doing? To think she came out in 2008 so anti-establishment, literally singing tongue-and-cheek songs about how fame corrodes people and here she is living that out as proof. I’ll never get how these artists can’t just be content making art, they have to turn into these business moguls who will do anything and everything (unrelated to their music or movies) to make a buck. And I say all this as a huge Gaga stan but over the past 4 years, Gaga’s lost it. She’s so boring and out of touch. It was fun while it lasted! 15 1
nostalgic Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I'm over it...lemme go stan Madonna again, at least she's been the same ***** for 60 years 6
Maneater Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Everything about her is so off-putting now. Cba changing my avi though 1
KatyPrismSpirit Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Gaga becoming this paid pharma puppet is honestly so sad 4
State of Grace. Posted March 3 Posted March 3 (edited) 3 hours ago, qurl said: exactly, and also again … it’s intention. Rihanna launching a beauty line makes a ton of sense; she’s always been hailed as one of the most beautiful women in the world since she debuted, and the reviews and success of Fenty speaks for itself she put a lot of effort into it. Bey had a very personal connection to hair care and if i’m doing my own thinking on it i think she started Cécred to have something for Tina to focus on, but again it all stems from watching her mother own her salon and growing up there. there’s a storyline behind it. Gaga is just blatantly selling out because she sees a lot of her contemporaries going off and having these successful business ventures and wants a piece of that pie. i promise yall it’s okay to admit it. it’s just the way she’s going about doing it … it feels so much more hollow than Bey and Rih’s side projects. I do agree with your point although it is kinda giving "my billionaire fave is better than yours, at least it has a story behind it" nnn They're honestly all in the same boat imo. The difference is that at least Bey is still feeding her fans and giving them great content while pursuing her shady capitalistic ventures on the other side. I imagine she'd be lashed so hard if she was promoting Cécred, IvyPark, Tiffany, etc while starving the Hive for +4 years. Gaga shilling for Big Pharma remains one of the worst things she's ever done though. It's just so out of her element/brand and no amount of trying to link it to her clean makeup (which is, allegedly, genuinely good) will make it right. Adding "pharmaceutical skincare" to Haus Labs would only gonna backfire on her. Edited March 3 by State of Grace. 8

Bye Quoting and bolding because this is the only sane take I've seen on this. This woman raised $135 million dollars for COVID vaccine research out of the pockets of billionaires ONLY by leveraging her relationships with the Apple CEO and more. But ATRL users are literally running to scream BIG PHARMA SHILL and try to expose her as this soulless billionaire because she hosted her partner's event lmao Sometimes I hate how quiet she is about her philanthropic work because she has changed SO many lives but never brags about it. Dolly Parton got 100x the praise for her COVID vaccine research donation of $1 million. Edited March 3 by Cameltoe Chariot 1 2
IBeMe Posted March 3 Posted March 3 so weird tbh....it's one thing to milk your fans for money by selling them things they might actually want like music, merch etc and then its another to just be shilling for big pharma....idk what's going on. Maybe its her boyfriends influence? idk....
