Popular Post Arthoe Posted March 3 Popular Post Posted March 3 I'm tired. For somebody who used to be so critical about the general concept of money, wealth and exploitation, especially in light of badly she was exploited by her pre-ARTPOP management, it's just straight up disappointing to see her act like this. I haven't been a stan, but a casual fan for a long time now. But now she's gonna be on the "artists to pirate albums from" sh*tlist. She made enough money now that spoiled her character. 16 1
Mke1979 Posted March 3 Posted March 3 She left us little monsters high and dry for years. She’s traded Us for Hollywood and is trapped in Big Pharma world. She’s changed for the worst. 1

Things really did seem to change after she moved to LA. 2

CoolNebraskaGuy Posted March 3 Posted March 3 In the infinite possibilities presented by Gaga's debut career, this is among the most grim of all outcomes 1

Yes? Partnering with the most corrupt and morally bankrupt industry on the planet? Versus making some haircare product or performing at a birthday party? Not even in the same ballpark. 3 3
Bears01 Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I get being a capitalist and all….but the big pharma industry is capital EVIL 3

Shilling haircare and makeup products is not the same as partnering with Big Pharma who are literally killing people for profit. Ever heard of OxyContin? 2
Reginald Posted March 3 Posted March 3 (edited) I really hate this Jack-of-All-Trades era she's been in for literally a decade now. Her brand identity used to be so strong, now it's just random and scattered. Edited March 3 by Reginald 4

Ever heard of OxyContin? exactly, and also again … it’s intention. Rihanna launching a beauty line makes a ton of sense; she’s always been hailed as one of the most beautiful women in the world since she debuted, and the reviews and success of Fenty speaks for itself she put a lot of effort into it. Bey had a very personal connection to hair care and if i’m doing my own thinking on it i think she started Cécred to have something for Tina to focus on, but again it all stems from watching her mother own her salon and growing up there. there’s a storyline behind it. Gaga is just blatantly selling out because she sees a lot of her contemporaries going off and having these successful business ventures and wants a piece of that pie. i promise yall it’s okay to admit it. it’s just the way she’s going about doing it … it feels so much more hollow than Bey and Rih’s side projects. 6 1
