Yes, Rihanna is lazy as hell and doesn't care. But the times she DID care, she's ten times better than Taylor on a stage.

👍 Still waiting for you to support the narrative that her Super Bowl was bad with anything other than your subjective take on her performance. I guess people would rather watch Rihanna "walking from point a to point b and back" than sit through any of the other performances.

Rihanna’s label shells out money for songwriters and producers who do everything Taylor can do on her own. Rihanna’s ONLY job is to sing and perform the music well, something she routinely fails to do. They’re in completely different lanes.

She fails to sing and perform the music well yet has the most successful Super Bowl halftime performance of all time, literally. The math is not mathing.

 

Writing songs isn’t the only aspect of the creative process in music either. Rihanna was the executive producer and creative director on her last album (in addition to co-writing every song). Just loud and wrong 💀

If we’re using numbers and success to judge performance skills then Taylor is the best performer of all time.

I mean TS doesn’t really have a successful or acclaimed performance that people watch over and over on YouTube, she has 1 performance from years ago with just over 100m views and that’s it. She hasn’t won any award for the quality of her performances either. Her tours are huge because her fanbase is huge.
