Rihanna is not even THAT bad live vocally, but people like to exaggerate. Choreography wise yes she’s never given 200% and that’s okay. 
 

y’all need to learn that not everyone has to dance like Beyonce and sing like Lady Gaga to be an iconic artist. Rihanna is iconic and will always be no matter what your expectations are!!! 
 

and these swifts should not even be allowed to comment about someone else’s performing skills when their fave is arguably one of the worst performers in 2024

How is Taylor better? Her shows are not 100% live and she just walks and jumps around.

Yall know nothing about Taylor and it shows. She can captivate an entire stadium with nothing but herself and a guitar. She doesn’t need “production” or to “walk and jump around.”  Rihanna could never do what Taylor does in a stadium, but you’re welcome to keep living in your own reality

Just before she retired from music she was starting to put effort in guess she is over it again.

 

 

When she was like 17-21, she would put the effort in with vocals, production, dancing, wardrobe, etc. but once it got to like 2011/2012, her performance style settled into this "I'm too much of a cool girl" vibe and she got lazier with each passing performance so I'm not shocked by the lack of energy in these clips. I'm a bit sad by the vocals tho but I've just accepted that her singing peaked at 21 and she's never gonna reach her full potential vocally. For one, you have to consistently train, sing and take care of your vocal chords to get great at it and she doesn't do any of the above.

If Rihanna gave a ****, she’d outdo Taylor with a breath. I mean it’s true Rihanna built this idgaf personality and doesn’t care enough to do a full on choreography, but she has performances in her library to prove she can do it. Also Rih can captivate without making a single move (watch bbmas 2016 or diamonds performances from 2012). I just think y’all have way too many expectations. Actually I stan Taylor Swift so my expectations are extremely low and Rihanna still manages to not meet them.
 

I -know- how to enjoy a performance from someone that can’t sing or dance at the caliber Beyonce or Gaga can, and yet Rihanna doesn’t even meet -that- threshold. That says a lot.

Where are the videos of Taylor captivating a stadium with just her guitar? I can post videos of Rihanna giving a great vocal or choreo and stage presence but where is the proof of Taylor being half decent even once? Is it just feels and vibes?

I read she got 8-9 million. That's a hefty paycheck for a luxury trip to India and an one hour show. She may not be motivated enough to put out an album or tour but 9 million for 3 days work is way too much to turn down.

I think the youngest self-made female billionaire could have afforded to turn down 8-9 million. Passing this up would not have hurt her bank account. And yeah, that's great money for three days. But then maybe put in an ounce of effort? Try and make it at least seem like you're worth that 8 million, and that they're not just paying for your name.

Baby,Taylor is in the BOTTOM of the list when it comes to performers. Rihanna is right there because she’s lazy not because she can’t do it. Taylor in the other hand tries but fails miserably. It’s even worse. A Billion tour won’t change the fact that she is just bad.
