I've showered with my dad too, up to a certain age, at least.

I've literally gone to nudist beaches with my mom too  we're both from an artist background so we've seen so many flapping d*cks and bare bums that it's a complete non event. 

 

Nudity is way too sexualised, especially for Americans.

It's a bit odd for a modern family to shower together, but Americans are too scandalized by nudity overall. I'm sure families bathed together a hundred years ago when bathing in creeks was more common.
