X~MoviePoP Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Her vocals and this over produced r&b sound just isnt working for her. 1 1
Space&Time Posted March 4 Posted March 4 This song IS AMAZING! She murdered it. Love the productions and lyrics. This deserves to be a #1 smash on Urban radio. 1
Space&Time Posted March 4 Posted March 4 She just needs a radio version where the song ends after the second chorus.
Monkey_Juice Posted March 5 Posted March 5 All she had to do was give us a Body Do video This is filler like most the tracks from her album. 1

She killed her momentum by scrapping the first version of the album and not including the first three singles. Her first three singles ended up being better than everything she had on In Pieces. She's so talented but needs to develop a stronger artistic identity. 2

I think this might be taken as me being mean/blunt but I just don’t think she “gets it” as a solo artist. The lack of an identity 3 years in speaks to that. 1
808dream Posted March 6 Posted March 6 for some reason Cry For Me stuck in my head and firmly sat in my Playlist for more than 2 years. I think she should have released that and still hope she will somehow.

professor2000 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I don’t think Pop vs. R&B is really the problem though, imo. But I wish her well. 2
Dottie Hinkle Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I think strawberry lemonade is the next single, that's a song from the first era that got scrapped
