glitch Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Do it. I was meant to go to two concerts alone last year and skipped both. And both ended up bringing out special guests while I was sat at home like a fool. Don't be like me. 1
Clauss Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Go alone. The people next to you might be your next best friend for life or couple! Also, the experience is to see the show. Not to be with someone else.

tiagol88 Posted February 25 Posted February 25 I’ll never stop myself from doing something i want because i have no one else to do it with. 6
toast Posted February 25 Posted February 25 (edited) I go to a lot of shows alone - as long as you're actually interested in the music/artist it's gonna be a good time. Sometimes you chat with people around you, sometimes you don't - it's fine either way. Edited February 26 by toast 1
Solaria Posted February 25 Posted February 25 100 % recommend it, I ain't missing out on my faves just because none of my friends have good taste 1 1

Archetype Posted February 25 Posted February 25 I usually go to concerts alone and always have a great time. One of my favorite moments from last year was when I saw Caroline Polachek perform last summer in Switzerland by myself
modern thing Posted February 25 Posted February 25 100% yes you should go! you can unexpectedly meet somebody there or just have the best time by yourself
Princess Aurora Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Never but the area I live in doesn't have many concerts, especially international acts
Brooklyn Baby Posted February 25 Posted February 25 I went to my first Eras Tour show by myself. It was absolutely worth it
May Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Im gonna be real with u, queueing up is ANXIETY INDUCING when ur going to a concert alone . but once ur inside, u have an alcoholic drink and the music starts, u forget all about being alone 1
Gov Hooka Posted February 25 Posted February 25 The way I’m so used to going to concerts alone that whenever I do go with others I end up liking the experience less. 1 1
sweetblindness Posted February 25 Posted February 25 GO! I go to more concerts alone than not, just because my friends don't share the same music taste as me and because they're boring and don't want to sacrifice a bit of sleep for weeknight shows. I have made many friends by going to shows alone -- after all, it's easy to strike up a conversation with someone knowing you both already share a love for whatever musician you're seeing. Plus it's not like the concert is a social event...you're there to see the performer! On top of that, it's a ridiculously liberating feeling to be on your own schedule. You can leave whenever you want, get whatever food you want, stay after if you want to try to meet the artist, whatever. I hate feeling tied down by friends who need to be home by a certain time, are too tired to stay up late, need to go to the bathroom, want to eat a certain place, stuff like that. My life dramatically improved when I got more comfortable doing things alone. There are so many great experiences I would have missed out on otherwise. Even going to have a nice meal alone is therapeutic for me. 1
Revel Posted February 25 Posted February 25 I went to the SZA London concert on my own and I loved it. It was my first time going alone to a concert and I was a bit nervous to go. But then I realised that I would focusing on the show and the artist with likeminded individuals and came around to the idea. And at the concert, I had a blast! One of the best concerts have been to. Normalise doing things you love alone! Don't always need someone there, you can be your own best friend at times. 2
SimpleKindofLife Posted February 25 Posted February 25 I went to like 4 concerts alone last year and loved it
