I forgot I used to listen to You’re Losing Me ad nauseam on there before blondie finally dropped it. I also found the Joseph James Megamix after the original was removed on YouTube Again: a complete nonissue, put all that energy into something actually productive xoxo

Instead of bitching at “casual fans” upset with a Billionaire using cheap tactics to get even more money, shouldn’t you want your billionaire fave to stop these tactics for sales and money and just treat her music like it’s “art” like they do so claim? Her fans really push this narrative that she’s so “genuine” and “love music” but everything she does gives the impression her music is just a product to make money. She would sell more than anyone else with just a regular and deluxe version so why does she insist on these tactics? Absurd. Her hardcore fans are deranged to encourage it. It’s “eat the rich” until it’s Taylor. Then it’s “mind your business and just don’t buy if it you don’t want it” If she cared about art she wouldn't push out a new mediocre album every 2 months just to have product out there to milk her gullible fans with. But they celebrate her for it so. 1 2 1

"Mediocre album", you do realize 2 of her last 3 albums won AOTY and all 3 are her most acclaimed, right? your opinion doesn't seem to be on par with the rest, and that's ok. 1

Well some people can make up their own opinions and some can listen to paid critics and the corrupt, racist Grammys. The latter also buy into exploitative scams by greedy billionaires. Coincidence? 1 1 1

jim19911126 Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Once you stopped buying them and she sees the sale numbers drop, she will stop doing this, you are the one who's been feeding her and made her this now, you can call her greedy but this is not a single sided game. Every artist is doing this now, but the way she plays this game is based on how you react to it, and obviously you are willing to let her milk you, so why wouldn't she?
Rep2000 Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Y'all are still here fuming over some bonus tracks/variations?!? 13 pages, for a non-issue, chile.
False God Posted February 25 Posted February 25 No one is pointed a gun to your head to buy. These bonus songs will be available in the internet somewhere if you really wanna listen to that. No need to act like a kid, wth
Boniqua Posted February 25 Posted February 25 So strange how people will defend practices that exist only to take advantage of them. 4

Grammys are still the most prestigeous award and she's killing it commercially so I guess she's doing something right
Meev Posted February 25 Posted February 25 This thread is still going? All the songs are going to be on streaming anyway, with a few weeks delay. Plus it’s not like people won’t be uploading the bonus tracks on Twitter immediately. The different physical editions are basically like merch and are there for stans. I don’t understand why people who complain about this when it is not like they have to actually buy the physicals to listen to the songs.
TayGod Posted February 25 Posted February 25 This is a problem of Social Media! When a minuscule number of people complain, it is magnified by media or sites like ATRL. The truth is that the number of complaints is like the mole on The Mona Lisa: Too small to overtake the overall masterpiece. 1

At least Taylor is selling different album covers with her variants, unlike some artists who would only change the vinyl colours and not the actual cover.

idkwiam Posted February 25 Posted February 25 She is getting dragged because that's what she thinks it's content. People need lead singles and more information about the album that's it
