Report: Real Madrid moves football game for more Taylor Swift shows in Spain

Okay but your thread title is still saying they are moving their game to add a second Taylor concert which is inaccurate and misleading.

Because a thread title only has so much space? What's mentioned in the title is also explicitly mentioned in the article, with the exact quote being cited, just how the logistical factor behind the decision to move is as well, even as the first quote.

There is nothing misleading when all the factors influencing this decision are presented in the OP. What's actually misleading is insisting that the city of Madrid is asking for a 2nd date, when it's been pointed out to you by two different people that within the context of the article and the language used by the author, "Madrid" is only an abbreviated version of the club's full name.

And why would a football club organize a Taylor Swift concert? :rip:

Surely it got you confused since them referring to Real Madrid in the article as Madrid is one thing but the city is also named Madrid and is the one hosting the concerts, not the Football club. Are the 49'ers organizing Swift's concert in San Fransisco?

You do realise that football club's have to approve of every concert/event taking place at their stadium and take part in the organisation of the event, right? It's the same reason why some football stadiums don't book any concerts at all, because some clubs don't like that they can be damaging to the pitch and/or the stadium, but other football clubs do allow them because they are financially beneficial for them. That is literally why they would be interested in booking another Taylor Swift concert. The "Madrid" referred to in the article is absolutely Real Madrid, it has nothing to do with the city itself. Real Madrid is often informally referred to as "Madrid", in the same way that Inter Milan is referred to as "Milan", Aston Villa is referred to as "Villa" etc, etc. Besides, the article wouldn't even make grammatical sense for it to be referring to the city itself.

You could've written "Real Madrid moves game for Taylor, wants to add a second date because of high demand", instead you opted to write it's BECAUSE of the high demand that they are moving their game which was intentional and is misleading :michael:

But thanks for clarifying the city thing though. That was my mistake.

:suburban:

I'm still not wrong about the thread title saying Madrid moved the game because of her popularity and the article being about them moving the game for logistical reasons and the demand thing being a complete side-factor. But who else completely okay with manipulating if not the Taylor stans :cm:

Most of you probably wouldn't run into this thread if it was titled "Madrid moving game because of Taylor for logistical reasons" but when the word "popularity" is intertwined ya'll

Because it doesn't say they have moved their date because of Taylor's ticket sales which also would be stupid since that has nothing to do with the football game.

She only has a date in Spain, they want to move the date of the football match so she can play other night

It's the fact that this member pollutes every Taylor thread and gets clocked in each and every one of them, no matter their initial first point, but they are still trying.

The obsession is getting very weird.

Tour of the Year, Album of the Year, and Artist of the Year. It’s a tough time for Taylor’s second fan base. :bibliahh:

I mean the fact they want another a show and the fact they’re rescheduling give their employees time to set up for the ones they already have are two separate statements. Comprehension is everything.
