Billionaire Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I don't think it's plagiarism but it's one of the reasons why I'm not that into KPOP as much as I once was....for every couple of hits there's a Western artist or artist from a different country having a much better, less watered down version of it. HYBE are kinda repeat offenders of this cause just a couple months ago TXT had an Afrobeats song and while it was good it doesn't really come close to actual afrobeat songs made by people from SA & Nigeria. Same with LSFM and reggaeton + NewJeans & their PinkPantheress-esque stuff etc. I'd argue LSFM's latest title track was heavily inspired by Tinashe, a mess
kishi Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I think the title is wrong. Tyla didn't call anyone out. This looks like cultural appropriation more than anything and definitely biting from Tyla's video.
