Comedor Posted February 18 Posted February 18 US hive better secure those points. We are rooting for you.
Lose My Breath Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Well deserved I hope this remains at #1 for a bit, she deserves it 1

After the HDD article yesterday, I was expecting a significant drop. But yeah, if this prediction is true, you can ignore that HDD article because Vultures 1 is going to spend a 2nd week at #1, and the race won’t even be close. I mean, there’s no way the album drops greater than 50% if the promoted single is this stable. the rest of the songs are falling, carnival is the only one that is still getting good streams. Still it’s possible that hitsdd is underestimating his streams
PrudenceHCharmed Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Who would've thought the woman you dragged for not having hit since 2008 is smashing in 2024??! 7
SoldierofLove Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I just know the country music gatekeepers are seething right now because a black woman didn’t need their approval or radio play to get a hit country song! 1

AdrianNicki Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I'm happy for her success but the fact that out of all her iconic and timeless songs she released over the past few decades this is one of her #1 is kinda disappointing. I guess Americans really love their Yeehaw music.
TiaTamera Posted February 18 Posted February 18 ATRL was just complaining about how country has been dominating for a while, but then here comes Beyoncé, stomping on these racist yt men. We love Black women 3

Let her get an organic #1 it’ll be so much better considering she’s been dragged for lack of hits. So an organic #1 that is GP fueled will be the best thing to shut up OBH

I guess Americans really love their Yeehaw music. She’s just much more accessible when she isn’t releasing pretentious music. It’s why she’s lacked hits. This shows that Beyonce always has/had it in her to get hits if she made herself more accessible to the public and released more relatable music.
slw84 Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Now THIS would be an organic #1. It doesn't have massive radio airplay yet or promotion. Here for it. 1

I guess Americans really love their Yeehaw music. It's not just Americans, it seems. The song is smashing worldwide, so I think the public is on board with a fun, careful country bop. But I love that this will be one of her iconic #1s because it shows the eclectic variety of her music. She's had (or will have) three #1s this decade: rap, dance/house, and country. It's a prime example of how good music can resonate with everyone, regardless of the genre. 3
wastedpotential Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Bey won, and with an excellent song as well I guess Lexus owners were an untapped streaming market Spoiler Some poor girls are afraid to log in right now cause they know they're gonna get jumped, as they deserve to be Spoiler 5
