It’s written, directed and produced by Tyler Perry under his production company. The fact that Kelly is also a producer on it is not a drag in any way. White women like Reese Witherspoon and Margot Robbie are praised when they produce the movies that they star in.

To be fair, that sounds like a normal request from a celebrity with dancers and a whole entourage. Beyonce still requires a dressing room the size of a sports locker room and Whitney Houston always needed "all available rooms in the building" for a huge entourage.

 

Other celebrities have much stranger riders (and please keep in mind that they don't write it themselves):

The way y'all crucify people without knowing more to the story sends me. You've heard nothing from Kelly or her team but automatically believes she doesn't have a good reason to dip. When has she ever done this sort of thing? 

 

And while we're on the subject, why is kelly obligated to stay and work when her requirements and requests weren't met? She's been on TODAY before. Clearly something happened or came up. Some of the posts in here are microaggressive

literally my exact sentiment... like 10 years ago, when Rite debuted. I remember for a WHILE, everytime I went on Hollywood Reporter and Billboard to browse news, I kept seeing articles about her. Didn't know a single song (still don't really know to this date) and was so annoyed to keep seeing her face blasted everywhere.
