If "Country" as a genre isn't enough to classify it, the storytelling aspect of the whole album definitely is inspired by real country classics. It's her most personal album, she showed her most vulnerable side and pushed her voice to places she never really explored. Also, it's soooo ******* funny and entertaining! Have I enjoyed EVERYTHING? Certainly not, for now, I need to listen to it again and I don't wanna judge it too quickly. Riverdance was a bit boring during my first listen. The spoken interludes makes sense in the album, but as separate tracks they hold no value. Also I need to listen again but I'm pretty sure Willie Nelson mispronounced Bey's name But aside from that. The POWER some songs hold is breathtaking. American Requiem is an incredible introduction not only into the sonic landscape of the record, but also to her stance and mood during it. Daughter is probably one of her best songs ever. I can't wait for someone to dissect it, it's so mysterious and haunting. 2 Most Wanted and Levi's Jeans are RADIO bangers. Completely hooked by them. Miley mature, sultry, juicy voice fusing with Beys, Post going the acoustic, untouched, non-melodyne/autotune road to duet with queen and absolutely dominating the song! Tyrant is such a BOP. The most "classic Bey" song in it for sure. But...YA YA. Ladies and gentlemen....what a GEM. Ya Ya is her at the most powerful. I NEED to listen to this live. Now lemme listen to it again and again Miss Giselle you did it again....i'm at loss for words. But unfortunately Taylor's single with Post Malone in 2 weeks is gonna be her first single ... bad timing. I think that's why they pushing Miley's feat on the playlisting instead.
