If your strategy for revving up support for your candidate of choice is yelling at people about how any concerns about said candidate means you're a Republican or that the other candidate is also mentally unwell is a recipe for a loss. Get ready, kids. I don’t think Dems realize how much this election is going to rely on base turnout. Both candidates being deemed unfit is a recipe for independents to sit out and not save their asses like they did in 2022. And the VBNMW scolding has already been stale for nearly 8 years

Nothing about his mental health or age? Or about how the majority of Democrats don't want another Biden term? I'll take that as your agreement.

loveisdead9582 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 … I genuinely don’t understand what the DNC is doing. They know Biden isn’t the best candidate for this election. Trump may have lost a lot of support over the past 4 years but he still has quite a bit of the GP that would vote for him. The only thing that seems to be benefitting Biden is that the RNC is divided over him.

Every other named candidate does about the same or worse. 1

Had Biden bowed out early and let a primary run its course, the results would be different. Let's not forget that polls in 2020 had Bernie as the best candidate to beat Trump, but I'm sure you just conveniently ignored them then. 2 1

That was never true for Biden. Democratic voters have wanted someone else to claim the spotlight since his inauguration. 1

You must have a really poor opinion of the Democratic Party if you think they're that feeble.
