Taylor Swift flops in jet emissions ranking

So basically this list is not even remotely accurate because most celebrities are not posting their destinations on Instagram or Twitter.

If you click on the celebrity's name, the source is Instagram links (:rip:) rather than flight data.

Also, we don't know if they're flying commercial or having a whole jet for themselves from their Instagram. Emissions should be divided by person if they're flying commercial, which some of these Z-list celebrities clearly are.

The original study that people have been using against Taylor got their data from a twitter account and included only celebrities that were being tracked by that account but it seems like this didn't matter then. Interesting

Idk why her fans are pulling the “look, other people are worse than her, stop picking on her” card as if it makes her look any better.

who cares why Taylor is being called out in particular on this issue when it’s good that any celebrity period is finally being called out about private jet usage? The net benefit to society of this being called out by any billionaire is a good thing.

There is no point defending her on this. In fact, if she were the first celebrity to make a conscious effort to jet less. I’d gain a lot of respect for her.

Hopefully the people dragging her all over the internet for trying to bully a college student into silence will see this thread and stop, i doubt it will but i want that for you

Yet she's the only one trying to sue a college student? Maybe she should keep being unbothered and emitting. The news broke last year and not many people made a big deal out of it until this legal thing happens

Rumors saying she got rid of her old jet and got a new one :lakitu:

Oh wow, I’m sure we will get a 10-page thread about the excessive jet use of Kim Kardashian and Travis Scott soon, since ATRLers care very deeply about the environmental impact of private jets!

Even according to this method, there are plenty of other celebs who are also using private jets even more openly than Taylor. But none of them even gets a fraction of the focus.
It's clearly showing there's a stan war bias instead of a genuine concern about it.

We do not claim that the numbers in our ranking are 100% accurate.

Exactly. That original study also got an update and Taylor dropped out of the top even with that list.
But only her name is being used for clickbaits.

The way this bothers the Swifties more than her dating a neo-nazi is so ******* funny.

Priorities, people. The more you care about this, the more people will talk about it.

Went through the list and no way :deadbanana4:

Where are the big celebrities that actually fly their jets? Kylie? Jay Z? Elon? and the rest? :rip:

But its always who get the lashed.

No one cares for the others.

No, it is so UNFAIR for Taylor to get all the heat when she is not even in the top 30. You and the rest of ATRL's performative activism is so disgusting.

Rita Ora and JLo are more worried about being included in the "Influencers" category than the emissions.

Neither owns their own private jet.

Now, Swifties, let’s create a thread calling out EACH people on that list! For sure ATRLers would care because they are SOOOO concerned about the environment.

Swifties working as her PR team FOR FREE and failing at that

Oh wow suddenly lists like this is inaccurate? That study in 2022 that shows Taylor being #1 has been DEBUNKED yet y'all still single out Taylor as the "eco terrorist". The hypocrisy of some of you is REAL and OBVIOUS.

He's not just some college student and she doesn't want him to stop tracking her jet. Just to stop posting where she's going. For security reasons

See actually I respect that type of comment more because it's unapologetic about the fact that they don't care one bit about the issue at hand but only that Taylor gets dragged. :clap3:

So it's disinformation. A disclaimer should really be added to the post.
