It's a weak song. It's solid but it's giving track #11. She needs to cut the "body of work" crap and release the second single the week after Dua's

Horrible song, terrible album cover, terrible music in general, and a very questionable, morally challenged person behind it all = a declining career and a bombed single/album campaign. That’s really all there is to it I think but hopefully the album release will help stabilize it?

I don't get the Hold It Against Me comparisons.

Britney still felt like a megastar during its release and the song's release felt huge

not to mention HIAM definitely lasted for more than 2 weeks in the top 10. :rip:

The way this site punctually switch on a song based on its chart run.

The song remains a bop.

Weak song in a genre that is not tradiitonally popular in the US.

Everyone has been saying how bad this song is since day one. No one is switching

i'm shocked that considering how this lead is performing her team isn't trying to push another single.. like there has to be something on that album that could do better..right?:rip: she's not an album artist, those vinyls versions are not selling.. i can't believe republic is letting her flop like that. I'm sensing a 150k debut

It was #1 on the global chart for 2 weeks. It's at worst a slight underperformance compared to her other leads.

150k is fine tbh. Even 120-140k would be fine. As long as she gets the #1, the majority of people outside of Swiftie Twitter won't look to dissect her actual units. The important thing is that the album tracks resonates, that the second single is better and that the reviews are great.

Still top 10 in my country (#10). Radio is still rising so it will stabilize around there for a while most likely.

It's a fun song but I would like to see her go a little out of her comfort zone with genres - embrace the experimental.

slight? her last lead single spent 17 weeks in the top 10, this will only spend 2.. the numbers were good at first due to the comeback hype but it's clear that the GP doesn't like it (already out of the top 10 on spotify global, out of the top 100 on apple music); It will just keep freefalling from here, that's why i was expecting another single soon. 150k for her would be her worse debut since yours truly :rip: i would expect at least 200k for a pop girl of her status (and for an album with so many variants)
