This is so embarrassing. Were her fans actually worried about this? Can they not do a little bit of math?

According to Swifties though, all of this attention and catering to Taylor coming from the US government means nothing, and that she has no power or influence on global affairs! We shouldn't expect her to speak up on anything, because she's just a mere singer songwriter sharing her dreams with the world!!!!

The hardcore online Swifties figured this math out months ago :rip:

It’s all the other news outlets and, imma say it, people with jobs and lives outside of Taylor who are just now tuning into this story and figuring out the logistics.

So no, her fans have not been worried about this. The casual GP has been :gaycat6:

This is the kind of **** The Beatles and MJ would have happen for them.

What exactly was serious about “Beatlemania” :rip: That’s all this is, but for Taylor. It’s a cultural fever high that results in outlandish and off the wall reactions from all corners of the globe over an artist. It is a bit cringe but it will die down. It wasn’t any “less cringe” then than it is now.

That feels so unprofessional lol but well, at least the girlies know she'll be there.

Embassies are all about Public Diplomacy and bilateral ties between countries (in this case the US and Japan). Trust that a communication team has thought of this and it’s been approved by the Ambassador

In a professional sense, this will likely be their most popular post of the year = visibility = good for the embassy

Taylor being the culture that everyone, even the politicians, want in on. The power she has :alexz2:

She should worry about her Reputation given her nonstop use of her private jet.

The Swifties have been planting trees en masse to offset her carbon contributions :dies: I’ve been seeing it all over my timeline. In a roundabout way she did  inspire climate activism

If Biden really wants to ingratiate himself towards Taylor, he should send Air Force One to pick her up.

corporations doing this were bad enough but governments doing this is offensive

That is great the Swifties are making up for their greedy fave on their own accord but that does not suddenly make her round-about climate activist.  That is some mental gymnastics tbh, lol.  That’s more like the fanbase took it upon themselves to do some image repair and damage reversal to help the Earth because their fave does not treat it well.

All you'll ever see is gold medal gymnastic routines or react_confused.png/icons8-thumbs-down-100.png reactions from her fanbase on here because they are incapable of criticizing their fave. They behave the same way as Elon Musk fanboys, forever simping for a billionaire and excusing her avoidance of any responsibility with her power and connections.

Just watch. They're coming for me any second! :sistrens:

??

Is that not what was said? I am basically just saying the same thing just worded slightly differently.  Lmao.

The gay intern at the Japanese embassy posting something cute about Taylor making it back from Japan is not the international incident some of y’all are acting like it is :gaycat6:.

If internet culture encourages institutions and brands to do silly things online it also encouragers people to participate in performative activism and meltdown over harmless things like this.

OT: Impact, not everybody has an embassy calculating their movements :WAP:
