What exactly was serious about “Beatlemania”  That’s all this is, but for Taylor. It’s a cultural fever high that results in outlandish and off the wall reactions from all corners of the globe over an artist. It is a bit cringe but it will die down. It wasn’t any “less cringe” then than it is now.
