Can Taylor Swift pull Disco? Or any other sound?

I'd prefer if she explores soft rock/alt rock, I think she'd do that genre very well.

The ability to command a dancefloor.

And that's all Kylie with her washed up 40+ old gay fanbsse can command. Talk when she can command sold out stadiums. :hippo:

Posting a song Britney was basically forced to record and another one that’s been pitched down (and doesn’t even sound like Britney unlike in the official release) will not make Taylor’s version of TIWYCF sound anymore on key. A song taylor wrote. What’s not clicking?

This must’ve been Rihanna before saving the song:

Both of those vocal performances are absolute atrocities :rip: Do I need to post the videos of her screaming like banshee in front of her Christmas tree or on her bathroom too?

And yes, thanks for pointing out that her vocals in the official, studio edited to he'll version are much better :toofunny3: We never would have caught that had you not pointed it out

Of course, her songwriting is versatile enough that it can be made to fit any genre. She'd only need to work with the appropriate producers, cause Jack Antonoff is the one who wouldn't be able to pull of disco.

How exactly does she command a dancefloor? Through producers who make her beats?

I just know the Navy are not comparing a rough demo to an edited to death final version :rip:

Andy Butler and Taylor would create magic.
Primary because he would let her lyrics also take central part of the song just like in these.

But I guess some didn’t have in mind this type of disco though, so I can understand why someone would dismiss it as a possibility. :celestial2:

She can pull disco. Anyone can do disco. For a little music history. It was a joke in the 70s that you had to do disco to even get on the radio. Which was why The Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart had a disco hit.

Staying in one genre or a certain range isn’t a bad thing. That’s what most artists do. You know them for a sound spectrum that they release in.

this is such a limited take on disco and its creators and impact on music

Did you rad the whole quote? It was because the idea that you had to do disco to even get a hit on radio. By 1979, the charts were dominated by disco. Soon after, there was a backlash against disco.

Yes but it won’t be for a little while, and it’ll be part Goldfrapp, past Confessions.
