The only truly good game the series has released post-Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon - in my opinion - is Legends. Being shown that people want something more and something different, but ultimately pretty obviously Pokémon-flavored, should hopefully give Game Freak and associated entities a kick in the ass to step it up. 6

They have actually succeeded in the way you can interact with these creatures. The way they get you material, you can use them to fly, swim, ride... they have managed to create a great feature, that of the base, which STOMPS on all the attempts of Pokemon since gen 6 (Pokemon-Amie in gen 6, Pokemon Refresh in gen 7, Pokemon Camp in gen 8 and Picnic in gen 9). 2 1 1

Pokemon has had a monopoly on the genre pretty much since it debuted so there’s been no effort to innovate. I think it’s weird people so vehemently calling out Palworld for ripping off Pokemon when 1) If that’s true, I think the largest media franchise in history knows how to take care of that legally 2) This shows there is a market for polished adult-oriented Pokemon games

Cain Posted January 22 Posted January 22 I’m a huge Pokémon stan but I hope Ninentondo/Lamefreak SQUIRM I dusted off my Violet game yesterday and even tho I enjoy playing it the graphics are literally insane, in the worst way possible, coming from the biggest franchise of all time
