Is J Lo giving sense to the word "visual movie"?

Now this looks like a real movie. Not these collections of video clips the Crazy in love chanteuse call movies.

Should all the pop girls take note?

Somebody who saw how lacklustre every other visual album has been, except perhaps Jungle's, and then decided to do better.

Well, it looks like what would otherwise be considered a standard musical with original songs. That's different than a "visual album" which I think you meant in the thread title by saying "visual movie".

The only Beyoncé visual albums that have been a collection of videos have been her first, The B'Day Video Anthology and BEYONCÉLemonade  and Black is King both had linear narratives and though the videos are more segmented than integrated (like in a traditional musical, though plenty of famous musical films are structured in segments), they surely do not represent "a collections of video clips".

Looks like one of those movies for which they play a trailer in the cinema, and you immediately know every plot point

It's a musical/visual album hybrid. It has more film conventions than Black Is King but is not linear like a movie either.

Ain’t all movies visual?

It will bomb. No one is checking for J.Lo in 2024 besides some gay Puerto Ricans.

Does it really matter if nobody is going to buy or stream the music?
