X~MoviePoP Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Why is the janet casting so under wraps. Who tf is playing janet
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted May 30 Posted May 30 You guys need to learn to separate art from the artist or you will drive yourselves insane. It's not worth it for someone that died. If he is ever proven guilty, it will happen in due time and he'll get what he deserves. If he was alive this would be a different story but he's long gone. MJ was obviously a ****** up individual with a lot of deep issues and not someone to admire to on a moral basis whatsoever. It doesn't mean you need to feel guilty if you listen to his songs or want to see this biopic when it comes out. The man has been dead for 15 years.
DiabeticGrandpa Posted May 30 Posted May 30 MJ was never found guilty. Y'all need to stop with the non sense. Also nobody asked for this biopic. There are many already aside from documentaries 1 1 1 1
XtinaStripped Posted May 30 Posted May 30 There's SO many touchy moments in this guys past to pull off an "honest portrayal". Mess incoming.

Perhaps it's just a small role that she was able to do in addition to the current role she's filming 🤷🏾♀️ but she's a perfect casting choice and her being followed by other casts members confirms it to be true.

Virgos Groove Posted June 2 Posted June 2 I'm genuinely intrigued to see how they're gonna address the allegations in a way that doesn't make him look bad. Even if he never molested kids (which I believe he did), his relationship with them was still weird, to put it mildly. This movie feels like a ticking timebomb. If they succeed in making him look innocent, it could undo the (surprisingly small) damage that Surviving Neverland did. If not, it could be exacerbate the discourse and be the final nail in his reputation's coffin. The music will always be loved, but how everyone perceives him is on the line. 1

Your overthinking this legal thing too much. Most people like michael for his art and if they are seeing this movie its because they want to see his life portrayed with his music, and also people will be curious to see what the movie addresses. The director/producer already said they arent shying away from his controversies btw. The movie itself will most likely let the viewer decide if michael comes off as innocent or not. 2

Polgg48 Posted June 8 Posted June 8 obviously keep jackson five portion out opening scene with ben, fast forward next scene to OTW era, then ending on... 'live in bucharest' should do it. honestly dont know how they can avoid bias critic panning on arrival, wont be watch anyway 🤷
