Maybe this is a bit parasocial of me but from the limited amount of Ari BTS I've seen + her older music that I liked (which is not a matter of genre – I like her current RnB mostly, because it is often very lyrically & melodically pretty) she's come across as such a sweet, pleasant girl... 

 

Which always makes me dislike these bad *****/cunty lyric moments she has. It seems so unnatural to me, but of course, this is probably just me. She obv can be both sweet and a diva for instance, but stuff like BUWYBIB, and this ;p stfu I can ride any dick I want type moment seem so insincere to me – meant to be quoted on IG captions by 20-somethings first and foremost. 

 

But again, probably me being parasocial. She can do whatever she likes ofc but I don't think any public figure should expect to be celebrated for homewrecking. It's one thing that promiscuity is looked at differently when it comes to men, that's a double standard got sure. But this is different.

This is interesting because in all honesty I kinda get the opposite impression…the whole donut incident that got leaked. I don’t think it was awful and career ruining, but it showed she is entitled and selfish and worried about short term attention/highs than being logical or caring about other people (someone was gonna eat that donut)

 

And she had that diva reputation for YEARS from My Everything to Dangerous Woman. I know rumors are rumors, but when they’re lasting so long about someone and there’s so many sources….well, where there’s smoke there’s fire. I don’t recall pop girls like Taylor or Olivia or early Katy or Rihanna ever having near as strong diva/selfish rumors 

 

Plus the main fact being that she seems to JUMP into relationships and push the pedal extremely fast (her quick engagement to Pete and then breakup, her quick marriage and then divorce to Dalton, this new SpongeBob guy). She also got with Big Sean when he was in a relationship (I remember his gf at the time, I think Naya Rivera? alluding to it), and I think someone said another earlier boyfriend was taken when they got together

 

She honestly seems like someone who is confident in their looks and talent but is extremely insecure on the inside with no strong personal grounding with the way she shapeshiftts between cultures, completely changes the way she speaks, jumps too fast into serious relationships, etc, and gets a high/sense of validation from having taken men “choose” her

 

This is extremely parasocial of me of course and maybe it’s all wrong, but I get the vibe that her insecure/bad ***** songs are very true to her, if only as her trying to act more confident than she really is
