Some people are far too attached / obsessed with what other people are doing and it’s weird, especially when it comes to celebrities. They feel like they can comment whatever they want under their social media posts, but would they leave those same comments about somebody they actually know? Probably not, as anonymity is something these weirdos live off. 
 

I can’t imagine leaving a hate message under somebody’s post or spending a large portion of my day gossiping about somebody else in the workplace. Brain rot!

The funniest part is that this fan fiction just gets uncritically repeated by fan bases who hate Ariana despite it never making sense. 

 

How would Ariana even consider the spouse of a 3-month co-worker her "friend"? Who said they were friends? The Daily Mail? Can you consider someone your friend if you... what? Saw them 2 or 3 times over the span of a few months? 

 

The framing that Ariana somehow owed this woman anything like as though they knew each other - and framing it like as though she started dating the ex of an actual person she knew like Liz Gilles - shows how unserious and stan-motivated this is. 

 

The very likely situation that's gonna come out is that Ethan and his wife were having problems for years and Ethan found someone he liked when working with her everyday for 3 months while working through the end of his marriage. 

 

You can think Ariana's is stupid for spending her time on a man with drama or his own baggage, let alone being a celebrity with an image thar can be attacked, but this framing of her as some cut-throat man-stealer plotting to take someone else's man behind her back and to her face is a lot of self projecting. 

 

Ethan likely introduced his situation to her as being someone trying to work through tumultuous aspects of their marriage and then telling her his decision to not be with his wife anymore. Again, you can think a woman is stupid for being open to date someone with so much hang up's and the drama of a baby mama, but clearly she rejects this narrative created of some malicious intent or active cheating that never occurred. And it veers into mental illness to be so aggressively certain that you actually know more than 1 of the 3 people involved despite you not knowing actually any of these people in any single capacity and yet reject logic for some stan war parasocial hatred.
